Ask a supplier what "MRO services" includes and you'll usually get a broad answer that covers everything from order fulfillment to technical support to inventory management. Ask a plant manager what they actually use, and the answer is often much narrower: whoever answers the phone fastest when something breaks. That gap between what MRO services are supposed to offer and what plants actually rely on is worth closing, because the difference shows up directly in how fast a line gets back up after a failure.
